Who Is Ben Gribaudo?
I made the most important decision of my life when I was about two or three years old. Kneeling in my bedroom,
I prayed to the Lord Jesus and asked Him to be my Savior, receiving His sacrifice on the cross as payment
for my sins (wrongdoings).
I was home-educated (home schooled) all of my school years. This experience proved a tremendous blessing,
including allowing me to develop close relationships with family members and providing an academic program
tailored to my strengths and weaknesses. In 1993, our family joined the Advanced Training Institute of America (ATI/ATIA).
Some years ago, I learned that I had Lyme disease.
I wonder if I picked it up when I was a toddler. Anyway, because it went undetected for a long time, its effects were
severe when they surfaced. Since then, I have gone to a number of doctors and health professionals. I'm doing better,
but I still have a good way to go before I am all well.
Work—Paying & Volunteer
Currently, I am an independent Web developer/programmer, utilizing languages such as XHTML/CSS, PHP, SQL.
I manage the technical side of the National Family Preservation Network’s (NFPN) Web site.
I have assisted the Advanced Training Institute International (ATII) with redesign planning
and content management for their new Web site.
The goal is to take 10,000+ e-mail messages from several hundred Microsoft Outlook Express folders, clean them up, thread them,
assign a loop and a topic ID (based on the folder where the message was found), and deposit them into a MySQL database, as well
as devising a more efficient system of processing new messages, and setting up a password-protected interface so that people can
access the archive on the Web.
Interests
You can
read about some of my interests by visiting the various sections of this web site. I like my family,
computers/Internet, biking, swimming, writing (see a few of my articles linked on the
left), memorizing Scripture, sacred piano/music, and sound
engineering (professional audio), just to name a few! Right now, though, because of my health, I can't do all of these
things.
Does Ben Have a Girlfriend?
This is a typical question to ask of a fellow my age. You are invited to read my article by the same
title (pdf format) to learn my answer and to find out where I stand on dating, courting/courtship and pursuing a
marriage relationship.
